Here is a recipe for Russian/Ukranian sorrel soup
Ingredients:

1 pound young sorrel leaves, wash stemmed as for spinach and chopped
2 tablespoons butter, margarine or oil
1 large minced onion
6 cups water or chicken stock
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
2 large beaten egg yolks
Sour cream
Prepare for 20 minutes and cook for 20 minutes

Another recipe for Russian food: Borscht

2 lbs (1 kg) raw beets
A little salt and pepper
Juice of 1 lemon
2 Tablespoons sugar or to taste
6 peeled boiled potatoes (optional)
1 cup (250 ml) sour cream to pass around
